Of Hues and Patterns

Sunday well spent wandering around Maginhawa, discovering some quirky coffee shops, and looking for blog-worthy spots where I could liberally take few snaps of my look of the day.

Every weekend, I always make sure to treat myself out and that includes getting myself a good coffee, hot or cold. Amazingly, Maginhawa does the trick! Yah, I love that place. And not to mention that it’s my top spot when it comes to penny cruising. So now you know where you’ll probably catch me. Heehee.

Taking aside, if there are two things which spiced up the following photos, it could obviously be the oh so colorful beetle behind me, and my embroidered bag from Teepee shop. I’ve been searching for such boho piece for ages and I finally got one (giggles)! Indeed a shop sent to me from the heavens! Heehee. No, but srsly, I meant it. And the reason why I went to an all black ensemble? I was trying to experiment with the bag, per se. What I discovered about it is that, I can throw myself in simple or even dull staples and let the bag do the magic. I like how it can turn a plain look into a fabulous one. The bag’s hues and patterns are to be blamed, I suppose. 🙂

So, a little background about them, Teepee’s actually an online shop here in the Philippines offering embroidered bags imported from Thailand. Their pieces mostly got bohemian touches but even if you’re not into gypsy fashion, I guarantee you’ll as well love their items. Teepee caters every woman’s thirst for fashion. Especially, three months from now summer’s here, and one of the season’s must have is a bag with splash of colors and prints to make your beach getaway even more exciting. Not only the bags have pretty appearances, they’re also delicate and intricate; I really can say it went through man’s dedication and hardwork. I strongly urge you guys to check them out for you might find the perfect piece for you.

Also seen here are my currently abused necklace-and-bracelet combo accessories from my favorite shop, Summer Soul Gypsy. (If you, guys, want me to direct you to their respective sites, just click the links below.)

Oh, it’s Tuesday, fast forward to four days and I’m out for a casual jaunt again. Since I’m barely finishing this blog post, I’m at the same time searching for good coffee shops around the metro. What about you, what’re your plans over the weekend? And do you enjoy coffee as well? Ah, I love coffee, and if you can recommend some cool spots, please feel free to comment below! Oh, I gotta say aside from coffee’s taste, I judge a coffee shop with its interior. Well, is that normal? I hope so. Heehee. 🙂
